Quill & Ink Founders

Chantal Borciani

From the start of her career in consumer journalism, Chantal has been involved in creating digital content, as well as developing PR and branded campaigns for household name clients as part of her long experience as a magazine section editor and editor.

She has written for national newspapers and leading consumer titles and is used to working to tight copy deadlines. A former head of content in the travel industry, she has also managed multi-platform campaigns, produced adverts and created more than 500 branded travel guides.

When not crafting copy, Chantal’s hunt for pure shores and the best beach bar continues.

Ting Dalton

With a background in consumer magazine journalism, Ting’s years of sub-editing mean no detail escapes her eagle eye. Former chief sub editor of the UK’s biggest-selling magazine, she’s also worked as an editor for Time & Leisure, where she was responsible for digital media.

Now specialising in content creation to support creative marketing for business, she is also a multi award-winning blogger. Her family travel blog, My Travel Monkey, has brought together her design, writing and digital expertise, including a flair for Instagram.

With PR and marketing skills to her name as well, she can also add ‘highly organised’ to her list of talents.

Cathy Winston

Award-winning travel journalist and blogger, Cathy started her career at the Press Association where being fast and accurate was the motto. Over the past 20 years, she has gone on to write for every national newspaper in the UK, a string of consumer and travel magazines, plus content for brands and businesses.

With the arrival of her daughter in 2012, she launched her award-winning family travel blog, MummyTravels, honing her digital content creation skills, including SEO and social media, while still being able to tell a memorable story.

Her other passion is travel: once you’ve flown long-haul with a toddler, no deadline is scary by comparison.
